I had this same problem with my machine and was fortunate enough to be able to access Microsoft Edge using one of the icons on my Desktop. Click the link above and follow the simple directions to configure the update to enable the taskbar and start menu.

This latest Windows 11 release also allows the taskbar to appear on multiple displays. Right-click on the taskbar, click on “taskbar settings”, and personalize your settings accordingly.
