FORTRAN is the first language I learned as a student in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology and it continues to be one of my “go to” languages of choice for math intensive applications.
In today’s world, however, console applications are not as intuitive as a well written GUI. Winteracter was written specifically – and only – for FORTRAN, making it possible to write professional grade GUI applications in FORTRAN.
I recently upgraded to Winteracter 14.0 and look forward to using the new functionality introduced in this latest release (17-Nov-2020). The changes introduced in version 14.0 are summarized in the news release and described in more detail in the release notes.
If you are programming in FORTRAN and need a professional GUI application, Winteracter is well worth the investment in time and money.
If you’re not sure, simply download the free trial and see it for yourself. The Winteracter FORTRAN GUI Tool Set is written for FORTRAN 90 and later.
